My teenage years in a nutshell.

Mother: Your books were all over the floor, I put them on the shelves.

Me: But they were all over the floor in order. And why is there a Tolkien book in the lower shelf? It goes in the middle one, and you can’t just wedge the Hobbit between the Lost Road and Morgoth’s Ring! It goes between the Unfinished Tales and Fellowship; that’s the closest thing of a chronological order I can get in-world. If you love me, just don’t touch my books.
